FAQ

Questions About POS Hardware

No. The software plans on our pricing page cover the software, customisation, updates and support. Hardware is priced separately, using the prices on this page.

For most shops, yes. The i3 systems with SSD storage handle billing, inventory and reports comfortably. If you run a very busy counter, choose an i5 terminal, or ask us about i5 and i7 upgrades.

Pick the desktop scanner (AQ6180) if it stays at the counter and you want 1D and 2D codes read from any angle. Pick the wireless scanner if you want to scan stock around the shop floor, up to 50m from the receiver.

Printers, scanners, the cash drawer and the touch terminals carry a 1 year warranty. The brand new i3 desktop has 3 years and the used i3 system with SSD has 6 months. Extended warranty can be arranged, so ask us.

Yes. We can quote an Intel i5 or i7 processor, touch monitors and other configurations. Contact us with your requirements.

Our hardware is chosen to work with ForDo IT POS software. Standard devices such as scanners and printers may work with other systems too, but we recommend our integrated setup.
